Thanksgiving Potluck- Tuesday, November 22, 2016
Mark your calendars! Centry is hosting a special potluck on Tuesday, November 22, 2016. Families are invited to share in the day with us and bring food items they choose. We encourage you to bring one of your family's favorites to share with the kindergarten. We will have tables set up in the hall and will enjoy a traditional Thanksgiving day of socializing and eating. Look here (and for papers sent home on Thursday) for more information.

International Study- Argentina
In Kindergarten, we are learning about the country of Argentina. We have looked at in on a map and found it is in South America! We also know that because it is below the equator, their seasons are opposite of ours! While we are learning, we are using the "W" question words of Who, What, When, Where, and Why to find more information. There is a lot more to learn about Argentina this week, such as:
Day 1: Location on Map (country, continent, hemisphere) and Flag
Day 2: Capital City and Fun Facts
Day 3: Culture (language, Food, customs, religion)
Day 4: Music, Art, and famous persons of that country
Day 5: Cumulative Project (Visit Argentina! Flyer)
The whole school will celebrate an International Day in a few weeks, where we can dress up as people from our country and share what we have learned. More information coming about International Day!

We enjoyed learning about the Spanish language and some highlights from Argentina with all of our friends in Kindergarten. We are lucky to have Ms. Cuellar who speaks spanish and loved singing a few songs in spanish!
Nick's Garden Center and Garden Market Field Trip
THANK YOU for making our first field trip a huge success and incredible day for students, parents, friends, and teachers! If any parents that joined us took any photos, please email them to Ms. Cuellar. Thank you!!
Keep an eye out for more information for our upcoming December Field Trip. We had an amazing day and would love for just as many (or more!) parents to join us again.
